An engine valve guide is a cylinder hole which is provided for each valve in the cylinder head and designed to support the valve with proper alignment. It is pressed into the cylinder head or block by which the stem of the valve passes. Due to constant friction between the guide and stem, engine valve guides get worn or damaged, thus allowing excess heat to burn out valve seals. A worn out engine valve guide will increase oil consumption which may result in reduced engine performance. Auto Parts Network carries wide selection of parts to sustain the engine’s life of your car and its superior operation. Hide
