Some interesting news out of Bosch, that they and Daimler are teaming up for a joint venture to produce electric motors (also known as traction motors).  Daimler AG and Robert Bosch GmbH both signed agreements to form a 50:50 joint venture for producing electric motors.  A new company called EM-motive GmbH will be set up to design, manufacture and market cutting-edge electric motors for electric vehicles.  The new company will be based in Hildesheim, close to both parent companies in the Stuttgart area.  Production of the new electric motor is scheduled to begin in 2012.  The new company will place extreme importance on high quality and innovation in developing this new electric motor, as electric vehicles will continue to be important and a growing automotiv...
