Car Dealerships Offer New Perks

You’ll probably find an espresso bar, a fine dining restaurant, or maybe even a high end salon at a 5 star hotel, but at a car dealership? When it comes to entertaining potential car buyers, TVs and soda dispensers just don’t cut it anymore. Dealerships across the USA are going above and beyond offering new perks—from food that’s not sold out of vending machines to other lavish, and some even sensible, amenities.

While Honda dealerships are trying to keep their customers awake with an espresso bar, Cadillac chooses to offer their buyers haircuts at the in-dealership barbershop. More practical perks like paying traffic tickets and renewing driver’s licenses can be found in a Honda dealership in Florida. Also at that Honda dealership in Florida? An on-site wedding chapel. I wonder if it’s a drive-thru...

Perhaps the most popular perk dealerships are adding is a restaurant. Wine and dine as you bring your car back in for a tune up or think over the potential car purchase over lobster and filet mignon (which you can get at a Ford dealership in California).

It’s unlikely that you’ll drive into any of these amped up dealerships soon, many haven’t adapted these new perks but just think of all the possibilities—a masseur, Starbucks coffee, free Wi-fi?
