Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT), is located in Lancaster, California and was started in 1997. ACT's mission in business has always been to deliver a product of unparalleled quality. which represents an outstanding value and fulfills the needs of the most demanding customers. ACT conducts business in a way that encourages these standards in its employees, promoting ethical business practices while operating as efficiently as possible and yet preserving high quality. ACT seeks to dominate the performance clutch industry with their wide variety of products including single and twin disc clutches, carbon clutches and flywheels. ACT plans to continue its success into the future with results that can be measured, delivered by an outstanding workforce that is dedicated to forward thinking.
ACT parts are unequaled in toughness and reliability, as well as the high quality materials they use in their manufacturing. ACT provides many different combinations of performance clutches and flywheels, which contain all the features you might need. ACT parts are known for their quality and reliability over the long term. ACT tests their products extensively including clamp load, pedal feel, working range and other qualities. ACT offers no quick fixes or gimmicky advertising; they delivery only firm solutions based on valid designs and measurable results. ACT provides customer service that is very responsive to their customer's needs and they pride themselves on providing all information their customers might need to resolve a problem or get the most possible out of their parts. ACT has no higher priority than ensuring their customers are satisfied with the performance of their products.
ACT utilizes complex Finite Element Analysis (FEA), computer software to test and evaluate products in a virtual environment. The FEA software works together with the most up-to-date CAD and 3D solid modeling software that is used by ACT's research and development department, ensuring that many different designs can be evaluated far in advance of introducing a new product to market. Each ACT pressure plate is load tested and cycled using a computer operated data recording press to make sure that all parts adhere to their rigid quality specifications. The specialized equipment ACT utilizes for evaluating their product designs allows them to evaluate existing parts and prototypes in a more timely manner. In addition, this equipment gives ACT the ability to create custom setups for their customers and provide them with a dyno sheet for that exact combination. ACT constantly tests new friction materials and designs in the laboratory for future innovations, so they will remain on the cutting-edge of clutch technology into the future.
