Centric Parts, including the StopTech and PowerSlot divisions, is a premier producer of aftermarket brake parts and systems for daily drivers, performance vehicles and even ultra performance vehicles. Centric is constantly seeking to make improvements to brake technology, both for the street and the track, and has earned four patents through the years. Centric was formed in 2000 in Southern California and they have been growing ever since. Currently Centric runs several warehouse and manufacturing facilities for a combined total of 438,000 square feet and over 500 employees. Centric's original focus was on replacement parts for everyday use, but they have assertively expanded into the performance market with acquisition of StopTech in 2006 and PowerSlot in 2007.

StopTech is Centric's ultra performance division and is a pioneer of world class brake components and systems for production-based race cars and high performance vehicles on the street or track. Stop-Tech was the first company to innovate balanced brake upgrades for production cars and still leads the industry in this area. StopTech's market dominating innovations and materials contribute to shorter stopping distances, better brake modulation and less brake fade. StopTech was started in 1999 with the intention to challenge the accepted standards in brake technology and set new archetypes for brake upgrade systems. As a result of their dual commitment to racing and high performance vehicles, StopTech has come to be respected for quality and performance both on and off the track.

PowerSlot is Centric's performance division, specializing in entry-level brake upgrade solutions. PowerSlot innovated direct-fit performance rotors for trucks, SUVs and severe duty vehicles, providing enhanced and dependable braking, even under difficult driving conditions. PowerSlot offers cost-effective options by providing oversized brake rotor kits that are compatible with OE-sized calipers and pads. PowerSlot was founded in 1998 and has experienced continuing success over the years. The business increased dramatically in 2004 when PowerSlot diversified its product range to include full-size trucks and SUVs. PowerSlot features directionally slotted replacement rotors that include the innovative Vac-U-Slot groove. PowerSlot is also recognized for their PowerSlot Cryo rotors.
