Daystar started in 1977 and has been engineering and manufacturing precision plastic components for four wheel drive trucks, motocross bikes, passenger cars and mountain bikes ever since. In 1994 Daystar introduced a complete line of polyurethane suspension and drive train parts for the light truck and SUV market. In 1995 they introduced the Daystar Super Kit, the first all-inclusive suspension and frame replacement bushing kit. Daystar introduced the first polyurethane suspension lift for Jeep TJ Wrangler and XJ Cherokee in 1996. In 1997 the SUPER GREASEABLE SHACKLE was launched; a premium lift shackle with 3/8" fully welded side plates and greasable polyurethane bolts and bushings. Daystar is a primary player in the lift and leveling kit market; they make kits for Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Kia 2WD and 4WD trucks and SUVs. Daystar is one of the leading polyurethane casting industry companies, with a specialized focus on suspension and drive train components for the automotive, light truck and off-road markets.
