Granatelli Motor Sports (GMS), was started in 1989 by J. R. Granatelli and now is based out of Oxnard, California. GMS designs, distributes and installs after-market performance automotive parts and accessories. GMS has a strong engineering history, which allows them to specialize in designing computer-based electronic components like mass airflow sensors, computer tuners, flash tools and diesel modules. GMS calls a 42,000 square foot facility home. Granatelli's forward-thinking concepts have positioned them as the premier company in the industry. GMS creations include the first aftermarket F-body torque arm, the first and only calibrated 200 MPH speedometer for the aftermarket, the first silicone radiator hose kits and perhaps most importantly, Granatelli was the first company to produce a centrifugal supercharger system legal in all 50 states, and then went on to achieve the same status on their Novi-2000 supercharger, which produced in excess of 1000 horsepower. Today GMS continues their tradition of forward-thinking with the world's fastest and most advanced flash tool, the world's only S197 calibrated mass airflow sensor, the world's only 4th generation F-body 200 MPH speedometer conversion and the world's most powerful S197 Mustang and C5 and C6 Corvette turbo systems. The Granatelli name has been linked with speed for over 70 years. GMS dedicates a great amount of resources to engineering assessments and detailed testing to provide its customers with the most forward-thinking automotive products and solutions available on the market today. GMS also performs select professional installations.
