The thermostat is an inexpensive but a very critical part of the cooling system. When it is functioning as it should it goes by unnoticed. However, when a thermostat is not functioning as it should the engine\'s temperature will either never be able to reach the optimal level due to the thermostat being stuck in the open position or will tend to overheat due to it not opening at all to allow the coolant to drain back into the radiator. Typically, replacing the thermostat is a fairly straight forward procedure. It\'s highly unadvisable to reuse the drained coolant. See the complete line up of products below.
