Reese Hitches Company Overview
Reese Hitches started in 1952. The Reese name is known for high quality and innovation in their designs. They are regarded as the premier hitching system manufacturer in North America. Reese now has over 800 employees and they use cutting-edge processes in their manufacturing such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), fatigue testing and finite analysis on each product. In 1968 Reese was recognized by the RV industry and was tasked with developing tests that have led to an industry standard called V5 and SAEJ684. Reese has originated many cutting-edge RV tow bar designs for the market and they specialize in easy installation of their products, with basic bolt-on designs. Reese is now part of the Cequent (based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan), family of companies, so has the resources behind them to continue their innovative designs well into the future.
