An ABS control module or anti-lock brake system control module receives signals from the ABS speed sensors to monitor the rotational speeds of the wheels and to determine if one or more of the wheels are locking up or skidding during hard braking. The received signals also help in limiting the braking force and activating the ABS modulator which then controls the vehicle while driving on slippery roads during heavy braking. A faulty ABS control module prevents in receiving signals from the sensors, causing the system to shutdown which may result to decreased braking performance. Auto Parts Network offers only the quality parts to keep your vehicle responsive and efficient. Hide
