A suspension control arm, also called as wishbone or A-arm, is a triangular metal bar positioned at the top and bottom of the wheel spindle. It turns in two places in which the wide end of the triangle connects to the frame and turns on a bushing while the narrow end connects to the steering knuckle and turns on a ball joint. It also prevents the excessive sideways movement and improves your driving handling and cornering. A bent or deformed suspension control arm will cause the body to move sideways which will result to poor handling and may lead to accidents especially when driving on highway speeds.
